Ellow! ( owo )

Los Angeles-based:
Motion Designer
Illustrator

Growing up, I was never one to shy away from unconventional methods to express my opinions effectively. Whether it was writing sarcastic poetry or splicing and stitching film or digital footage, I made sure everyone knew it was "me". My insatiable curiosity and love for knowledge made it easier to express myself through doodling, breaking, playing, and creating collages.

As a designer, I find the contrast between my inner "child's play" and my outer "professional designer" roles balance each other. I approach every project enthusiastically and strive to learn, improve, and challenge myself to enhance my designs, knowledge, and problem-solving skills. This journey has taught me some of life's most valuable lessons, such as patience, flexibility in goals, and trusting the process.

What I like:

  • Chocolate — Both the food and my dog

  • Cosplaying — Anime, cartoons, video game characters

  • Hot temp. soup — I want my soup sizzling, like my steak…

  • Book-worming — I love analyzing any form of print matter.
From comics to research papers, you name it!

  • Language learning — Will you be my next convo buddy?

  • 3D Sculpting — I love experimenting with making 3D characters, tools, objects, and environment mockup designs for me to 3D print.
